About Health Metabolism Reset
We started this site because most health content online is either too vague to be useful, or too technical to understand.
Health Metabolism Reset was created with one goal: to give you clear, science-backed information about metabolism, weight loss, and nutrition — written by people who actually understand the biology behind it.
No fads. No miracle claims. No “drink this one tea to fix everything.” Just honest, well-researched content that helps you make better decisions about your health.
Who We Are
Naithen Matthews — Founder & Lead Author
Naithen is an ISSA-Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist, with a nutrition degree from Cornell University and advanced graduate study (MS and PhD level coursework) in Nutrition & Metabolism at Boston University — focusing on nutrient metabolism, energy balance, chronic disease mechanisms, and obesity.
With over five years of hands-on experience in fitness coaching and more than two years writing in the health and wellness space, Naithen specializes in metabolism, women’s health, weight management, and natural wellness.
His work is built on a straightforward principle: complex science should be accessible to everyone. Every article he writes combines real coaching experience with evidence from peer-reviewed research — so you get advice that is both accurate and actually usable in everyday life.

What We Cover
Health Metabolism Reset focuses on a core set of topics where metabolic science meets everyday health:
- Metabolism — how it works, what affects it, and how to support it naturally
- Weight loss — sustainable, evidence-based strategies without extreme restriction
- Nutrition — foods, macronutrients, and eating patterns that support metabolic health
- Blood sugar & hormones — how insulin, cortisol, thyroid, and other hormones shape your metabolism
- Sleep & lifestyle — the underrated factors that directly affect how your body burns energy
- Supplements — honest, research-reviewed breakdowns of what works and what doesn’t
We do not publish content outside these areas. Topical focus is how we maintain quality.
Our Editorial Standards
Every article on this site follows the same process:
- Research first — we start with peer-reviewed sources: NIH, PubMed, Mayo Clinic, Harvard Health, and major clinical journals
- Written by a credentialed author — not outsourced, not AI-generated and published without review
- Reviewed before publication — a second set of eyes on every piece before it goes live
- Cited transparently — sources are named in-article so you can verify claims yourself
- Updated regularly — health science evolves; we revisit older articles when new evidence emerges
We are a YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) publisher in Google’s terminology — which means we hold ourselves to a higher standard than a general lifestyle blog. The content we produce can influence real health decisions, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Some articles on Health Metabolism Reset contain affiliate links to products we review or recommend. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial decisions. We only recommend products that are relevant to the topic, and we always disclose when a link is affiliate.
